Lil Wayne – “Off Off Off”
Game three of the NBA Finals was last night. After the Golden State Warriors threw two quick haymakers that left the Cleveland Cavaliers hopelessly staggering in Oakland, the Cavs came back to Cleveland and threw one of their own, smacking the Warriors by 30. Lil Wayne has let it be known who he wants to win the Finals with a one-off ode to cap off the resurrected Cavs victory. Over a minimal, booming, triumphant beat, Weezy shouts out damn near every player on the Cavs roster along with head coach Tyronn Lue while showing off his knowledge of the game. It seems like he hopped in the booth hyped off the Cavs win and needed to let it be known where his allegiance lies. It’s by no means a complete song with as much rambling to Cavs players as there are actual verses and hooks, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear this joint pumping under the lineup announcements for game four because it goes kind of hard. I need that Lil B response though. Listen.
