Billy Corgan seems less and less connected to reality every time he opens his mouth lately, but he can still write a motherfucking song. And at a recent acoustic gig at Madame Zuzu’s, his Chicago-area tea house, the Smashing Pumpkins leader debuted a couple of new ones. Performing with recent Smashing Pumpkins sideman Jeff Schroeder, Corgan performed two new songs, and they both sound great. Alternative Nation reports that the new songs are, at least for now, titled “Double R” and “Red Dirt.” Watch the two performances below.
