Yet another festival organized by All Tomorrow’s Parties is running into problems. In 2014, Jabberwocky Festival was cancelled three days before it was scheduled to start, a move that prompted some nasty fallout. Earlier this year when they tried to relaunch with ATP 2.0, they got into some hot water and were forced to switch locations, then had headliner John Cale pull out, and then cancelled the second weekend altogether.

Now, as Billboard reports, several artists that were scheduled to play the forthcoming ATP Iceland have pulled out of the festival, citing contractual issues.

Italian composer Fabio Frizzi tweeted yesterday that he wouldn’t be appearing: “We’ve made every effort to make this show happen, but unfortunately the lack of communication and the failure to honour any of the agreements that we made with Barry Hogan (ATP), made it impossible for us to perform.”

That cancellation followed on the heels of two other ones: Last month, Múm posted a statement to their Facebook page saying that they would not be performing: “Unfortunately the terms of the agreement with the festival have not been honoured and the band has been left with no other option than to pull out of the line-up.”

Blanck Mass, the side project of Fuck Buttons’ Benjamin John Power, also pulled out last month: “I hate to let anyone down, particularly people who have bought tickets to see me but it’s just not possible to be able to play this event.”

Those cancellations were replaced by CocoRosie and local acts Stafrænn Hákon and Oyama. The festival is scheduled to take place from 7/1-3 at Ásbrú in Keflavík, Iceland, though no set times have been announced yet.
