Lots of people saw Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and lots of people hated it. So it’s up to the forthcoming supervillain-team-up movie Suicide Squad to save things for the DC cinematic universe. And right now, it’s hard to tell if it will be any good. The trailer looks great! Jared Leto’s Joker makeup looks unbelievably stupid! And by a similar token, the movie’s soundtrack looks like it will have some great songs, and it will also have some terrible songs. The good: A new Grimes song called “Medieval Warfare”! Action Bronson teaming up with Mark Ronson and Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach! Street-rap hero Kevin Gates, graduating to the level where he has a song in a summer-tentpole blockbuster! The bad: Twenty One Pilots! Imagine Dragons teaming up with Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa! Panic! At The Disco covering “Bohemian Rhapsody”! Also, the single will apparently be Rick Ross and Skrillex’s “Purple Lamborghini,” and its video will have Leto in character as the Joker.
