Forgive me, I get my cornrowed buffoons mixed up sometimes. I initially thought Post Malone dropped another rap song after saying he was leaving hip-hop to explore his Dallas roots through country music, oops. Anyway, this new Riff Raff song isn’t bad. He recruits an on-fire Gucci Mane and wild man Danny Brown for the rumbling trap tune “I Drive By.” Riff spits two braggadocious verses about driving exotic whips sandwiching Brown’s, and though Guwop is limited to just the hook he still sounds great, continuing a nice little streak since being released from prison. This one drips with just enough swag to overlook Riff’s line “I’m Davy Crockett, my arm’s a rocket/ On candy mustard, I’m sitting on butter.” Listen.
