PJ Harvey – “Guilty”
A few months ago, PJ Harvey dropped her new LP The Hope Six Demolition Project, a concept album about the wages of war and poverty around the globe. And this morning, she’s shared another song from those sessions that didn’t make it onto the album. “Guilty,” like many of the songs that did make it onto the album, has a sort of deranged blues-rock swagger that evokes both Nick Cave and Captain Beefheart. And like many of the songs on the album, it does some truly intense things with horns. Listen to it below.
The Hope Six Demolition Project is out now on Vagrant Records.
