Matt Kivel – “Permanence” (Feat. Robin Pecknold) Video
The Los Angeles singer-songwriter Matt Kivel released his album Janus earlier this year, and before 2016 is over, he’ll follow it up with a new full-length called Fires On The Plain. On the new song “Permanence,” he gets a bit of help from Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold, who has not exactly been cranking out the new music lately. Pecknold sings backup on “Permanence.” He doesn’t appear in the song’s video, though. Instead, the clip shows Kivel and the actor Trey Holland, both covered with blood, boxing each other in the middle of the desert. Check it out below, via Pitchfork.
Fires On The Plain is out 10/7 on Driftless.
