Smith Westerns offshoot Whitney released their debut album, Light Upon The Lake, earlier this year, and they’ve gathered a solid group of visuals for tracks from it, including “No Woman,” “Golden Days,” and “No Matter Where We Go.” Today, we get a new one for the wistfully sentimental penultimate track from the album, “Polly.” It starts off with a contemplatively cute date but ends with our protagonist on a long walk home alone, arriving to a dark house just as a birthday party gets started next door. It was animated and directed by Sarina Nihei. Watch below.
