Chance The Rapper Models In New Kenzo x H&M Campaign
Big day for Chance The Rapper’s mainstream visibility. This morning, Chance knocked his performance on Ellen out of the fucking park. And today, we learn that Chance, whose personal style seems to revolve around branded baseball caps and letterman jackets, is about to become a model for the very fancy fashion line Kenzo.
As Harper’s Bazaar reports, H&M is getting ready to release a line in collaboration with Kenzo, and the two fashion-world entities have put together an intriguing cast of people to model the clothes in a new campaign that’ll debut next month. Chance will join actresses (and Kids co-stars) Chloe Sevigny and Rosario Dawson, composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, Vietnamese rapper Suboi, teenage environmental activist Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, and supermodel Iman, David Bowie’s widow. And the outfit that Chance is modeling will look something like this:
Usually, a rapper has to start dating Erykah Badu before rocking an outfit like that. According to Billboard, those ads will be everywhere 10/17. Meanwhile, the clothes will hit H&M stores 11/3.
