The Weeknd Isn’t Playing The Meadows After All
The Weeknd was supposed to be headlining the new Queens music festival The Meadows this weekend. Little more than a week before the fest, the Weeknd suddenly dropped out due to “unforeseen scheduling conflicts,” aka his appearance on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live that same night. But it turned out to be a “False Alarm” — after first attempting to replace him with J. Cole, The Meadows then reconfigured their entire schedule so that he would be able to play the fest earlier on Saturday night. Now, though, appears that that false alarm was itself a false alarm, and all of The Meadows’ efforts were for naught:
due to the new curfew changes and scheduling I can no longer perform at meadows. New York I'll make it up to you

Well, at least we still have J. Cole!
