Sleater-Kinney Inducted Into The Oregon Music Hall Of Fame
Although Sleater-Kinney initially formed in Olympia, Washington, Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker moved to Portland in the mid-1990s, where they met drummer Janet Weiss. And last night, they were inducted into the Oregon Music Hall Of Fame during a ceremony at Portland’s Aladdin Theater. The band was presented with the Artist Of The Year award, and their 2015 LP No Cities To Love was named Album Of The Year along with 3 Leg Torso’s And To All A Good Night.
