Camp Cope – “Keep Growing”
Earlier this year, Australian trio Camp Cope released their sharp self-titled debut LP, which picked up a nomination for Triple J’s Album Of The Year award, and they’re following it up with a new single, “Keep Growing.” It’s in the same vein as the heartfelt and downcast that populated their debut, and Georgia Maq’s comforting drawl sees independence as a gateway to growth. “I’m not gonna walk like I’m in your shadow anymore,” she sings. “I’ll keep growing my hair out/ I never want to do anything when you’re around/ I’ll keep growing my hair out/ It’s not for you.” Listen below.
“Keep Growing” and their self-titled debut album are both out now via Poison City Records.
