Every year, the BBC asks a panel of 170 critics, bloggers, DJs, and broadcasters to pick their three favorite new musical acts, the people who they think are going to be a big deal in the very near future. Previous winners have included Jack Garratt, Years & Years, Sam Smith, and HAIM, and today, the top 15 artists on this year’s longlist have been announced. As usual, they’re mostly British, but there are a few familiar names on there — Stereogum favorite Anderson .Paak, Pharrell-impressing electro-folk newcomer Maggie Rogers, South London wunderkind RAYE. It’s a pretty diverse list, and you can check it out below.
