Advent, an absolutely ferocious metallic hardcore band from North Carolina, broke up in 2011 after releasing two albums. But earlier this year, they announced that they were getting back together. And early next year, they’ll release a new three-song EP called Pain & Suffering. Based on opening track “Weight Of The World,” it should be an absolute monster. It’s a crushing, erratic riff-monster of a song with a breakdown that makes me want to kick a hole in my office window. Check it out below.
