Watch The Flaming Lips’ Trippy Tonight Show Performance
On Friday, psychedelic survivors the Flaming Lips will release their new LP Oczy Mlody. And these days, it almost feels like the Lips are putting out new records mostly as an excuse to get weird on late-night television. They played “The Castle,” the new album’s first single, while a light show did what it could to make them look like Lewis Carroll characters. Watch the performance below.
The Lips also sat down for a Tales From Tour segment about an interaction with the Hell’s Angels in Nottingham:
Oczy Mlody is out 1/13 on Warner Bros. Is it just me, or is it unnecessary to have two drummers playing on a track where the drums barely figure in?
