Rae Sremmurd have played their #1 smash “Black Beatles” on lots of TV shows, but last night’s Late Show performance was special. For one thing, Swae Lee and Slim Jimmi totally brought it, perhaps enlivened by an assist from Stephen Colbert’s house band, Jon Batiste and Stay Human. But also, it was the 53rd anniversary of the Beatles’ legendary appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, which took place on the same stage. This gig was slightly less historic, but hey, it’s some kind of symmetry. Watch below.
