Colombia Mad At Wiz Khalifa For Pablo Escobar Instagrams
Wiz Khalifa performed in Colombia last week, and he followed that up by posting photos in which he laid flowers at the grave of cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar and smoked what appears to be a joint in front of it. And, per the Associated Press, people are pissed. The comments on Khalifa’s Instagrams are largely negative, and the mayor of Medellin — the city where Escobar’s tomb is located — called the rapper a “scoundrel,” and suggested that instead of honoring Escobar, he should have paid tribute to the thousands of victims killed during the height of the country’s drug violence in the late 1980s. Khalifa has not yet responded to the criticism.
