Right now, we’re in that week between Coachella weekends when many of the bands from the festival show up on LA-based late-night talk shows. Gloriously, the first of the Coachella bands to show their shit off this year were King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, the feverish Melbourne psych-rock septet, who made their worldwide TV debut last night as musical guests on Conan. The Lizard Wizard are getting ready to release Murder Of The Universe, the second of the five albums that they’re planning on dropping this year. We’ve already posted the 13-minute opus “Han-Tyumi And The Murder Of The Universe.” And last night, they raged out on the chaotic, gurgling “The Lord Of Lightning.” Conan looked very happy with it.
