PWR BTTM Dropped By Management Company
In the past few days, allegations about PWR BTTM member Ben Hopkins have been circulating. After people in a closed Facebook group wrote about Hopkins’ alleged history of sexual assault, one alleged survivor of Hopkins’ assault described her story to Jezebel. The response has been swift. PWR BTTM’s opening acts have dropped off of their tour, festivals have cancelled their bookings, and one touring member has left the band. And now Salty Artist Management, their management company, has cut ties with the band. Here’s their statement:
In light of the allegations involving members of PWR BTTM, Salty Artist Management will no longer be working with the band. We do not take these kind of allegations lightly and our thoughts are with victims and survivors of abuse who have been affected by this.
