Harry Styles and James Corden go way back together, and Styles just spent the entire week — which not coincidentally was the week after his solo debut came out — sitting in on Corden’s Late Late Show. (He did Corden’s monologue for him a couple of nights ago.) So you knew this was coming. On last night’s show, Styles did Carpool Karaoke with Corden. It seems like there was a very intentional decision not to do any One Direction songs. Instead, they sang a few of Styles’ songs, as well as OutKast’s “Hey Ya!” and Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross’ “Endless Love.” They seem to actually like each other, and given that charm is the entire point of this enterprise, that made it watchable even if you want to put your face through a window whenever you look at Corden’s face. (Not saying this is you. I’m just saying.) Watch it below, if you feel like it.
