Ariana Grande’s Mother Reportedly Rushed Fans To Safety In Terrorist Attack
Last night, a suicide bomber set off an explosion at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, killing at least 22 people. The bomber attacked just as the show was ending, as Grande was leaving the stage and people were making their way to the exit. Ariana Grande’s mother Joan Grande deserves credit for quick thinking in the midst of the tragedy; when she heard the explosion, she reportedly brought a number of fans with her to the safety of the backstage area.
According to TMZ, Joan had been watching the show from the front row. When the explosion hit, many of the fans around her were waiting to leave the venue. In the chaos of the moment, she brought as many as 10 kids with her to the backstage area, and Grande’s security waited with them until they could leave safely.
