Deerhoof Warn Artists About Working With Daytrotter
Deerhoof have taken to Twitter to warn artists about working with Daytrotter, sharing their decidedly less-than-positive experiences with the site after recording a session with them several years ago. “Daytrotter’s been around for many years and done many great sessions, and the vast majority of musicians have no doubt had a good experience working with them,” Greg Saunier writes. “But not everyone.” He goes on to detail how Daytrotter put Deerhoof’s session behind a paywall and pressed and sold an LP of the session without the band’s consent or knowledge.
