Hot Snakes Announce Reunion Tour, First New Album In 14 Years
Back in 2000, John Reis and Rick Froberg, the two former frontmen of the San Diego post-hardcore titans Drive Like Jehu, formed a new band called Hot Snakes, and they were fucking good. The band released three relentless, deeply underappreciated albums before breaking up in 2005. They got back together in 2011 to play some reunion shows, and now it looks like they’re fully back. The band has signed to Sub Pop, and they’ll release a new album, their first in 13 years, next spring. (Sub Pop will also reissue the band’s three albums next year.) And this fall, Hot Snakes will head out on their first headlining tour in six years. You should really, really go see them if you get the chance. Check out the dates below.
