SZA Plans Album With Tame Impala & Mark Ronson, Loves Modest Mouse
Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker debuted a new collaboration with SZA during a joint DJ set at Governors Ball this summer, and it seems that there’s plenty more where that came from. In fact, in a new interview with The Los Angeles Times, the R&B singer reveals that they have a whole album together on the way.
“People grapple with labeling me as hip-hop, R&B or pop, and it’s interesting to me. I’m just making music,” she says. “I listen to Stevie Nicks. I love classical jazz. I love folk. I love rap. I love Modest Mouse. I’m making an album with Tame Impala and Mark Ronson. When you try to label it, you remove the option for it to be limitless. It diminishes the music.”
Maybe Travis Scott will be on that album too?
