Columbus folk-rockers Saintseneca released their last album Such Things in 2015. Today they share “Frostbiter,” the lead single from their forthcoming album Pillar Of Na.

The glorious track pieces together images from the past and present, connected around the randomness of life. Synth whooshes coolly as the atmosphere thickens, riffs heat up, and vocals drown. Maryn Jones of All Dogs and Yowler is not on board this time around, so the woman you hear duetting with Zac Little is new Saintseneca member Caeleigh Featherstone.

Of the one-off tracks Saintseneca released last year, “Moon Barks At The Dog” is the only one to end up on Pillar Of Na. Neither “Book Of The Dead On Sale” or the Christmas song “The Wandering Star” made the cut, but that just means more new songs like “Frostbiter” to check out. Hear it below.
