Apple Is Getting Rid Of iTunes
Apple is getting rid of iTunes. Bloomberg reports that functions of the iTunes store (movies, music, TV, and podcasts) will be available in separate apps. According to the story, the music app will allow iPhone and other iOS device users to manually sync their devices. This news came during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). iTunes has been in service since 2001, when the late Steve Jobs introduced the app at Macworld.
