Ok, FINE, I'll check out the illuminati hotties.
Surprised and elated this group is still going. Really dig their lush, crunchy vibe.
Great interview with an incredible talent. Excited for absolutely whatever she does next.
Huh what a brilliantly simple video.
"He can't sing" - good Lord, 2020 really has broken people's brains, hasn't it?
Ah man, "Heavy Lifter" did a lot of heavy lifting for me last year. Loving this.
The Beths' new record proves they are power pop perfection.
Might seem strange to recommend a live album but I'd suggest starting with "okonokos" to get a grasp of what they're capable of. One of the greatest live records, period.

Same! I distinctly remember "Yellow" and it's video soundtracking some cold, grey days.
Those first three records, whew. What a great run.
Pop music just doesn't hit the same when you can't imagine listening to it in large groups of people, huh? Anyway, this would be nice in 2015.
Excited for this but just want to state for the record that "King's Mouth" was insanely underrated.
Absolutely love this album - it's so much better than the 'first half.' I cannot wait to take it out for a proper night drive. Or hear it played in a giant open field.
Others have already pointed this out but this really is better than "America." Love the message of that one but this song is top tier Sufjan goodness.
They really solved racism, huh
Ah...this is just what I needed to send me into an existential spiral
Wait...a music documentary not about Dylan or the Stones? I didn't think it was possible!
Yet another fantastic tune - with a brilliant meaning, to boot. Between this and that new stunning Flock of Dimes ep, Jenn is really blessing us this year.
I left for a walk after seeing the teaser and come back to this?! Truly a blessing. And, agreed, re: more songs like "Compound Fracture." I was only lukewarm on the album as a whole but that is one of their best.
Fucking fucks abusing women and ruining beloved music fuck him
But seriously, that's a bummer. Hopefully it's as healthy as it sounds.

The thought that we might have another "Age of Adz" style masterpiece is almost too much for me to handle.
This year's soundtrack just keeps getting better.
Oh praise be - this year's been amazing musically but this is the only album I'll need!
Very strange that MTV thinks the world gives a shit enough to risk people's lives.
Will give what I can. Lurked for too long but I'll state emphatically now: this place is a gift.
Great minds. But, for real, this is terrible for every one.
"humongous love" is such a bjork valediction.
Oh sweet - affordable shitty clothes!
Hum, coming out of no where to not only remind me they exist but to gift me with one of my favorite albums of the year. I am floored. 2020 is wild.
If anything, musically, this year fucking rules.
Same though, honestly, I just really need to leaf the house.
Are we not suffering enough?
Well, shit. Thile did a great job turning this into quite the musical variety show.
Now that is a song to go out on. Superb, as ever.
