Oh that one is also a delight.
Mary Jo is my favourite BS track!
Awful news. I'll pray for it to be not true and for him to be quickly discharged.
Their last two albums are my favourite.
This is great news. Congrats, Pabloc!
This will shatter all the competition.
Glad to see you are also starting to enjoy this whole Hope six multimedia project, Tom.
I'm sorry but this is one of the most exciting things I've heard in 2016.
Listening to this track was the best way for me to start the day.
Well, let's hope this whole story will have a pedagogic effect.
This album did absolutely nothing for me. I used to love Elbow (Cast of Thousands, mostly), now I find myself cringing at their music.
Fame, fame, fatal fame It can play hideous tricks on the brain But still I'd rather be famous Than righteous or holy Any day any day any day
- Hello, new Radiohead album. - Hello, almotasim. - Is that blood? - Nope. A refrigerator.
Oh and smoking. My father died because of smoking and I saw my best friend die slowly of a lung tumor because of tobacco. I used to love smoking and the hardest thing I did in my life was to stop talking about the fact that there is a lot of meat in my dick. Haha!
Oh it's a real beauty. So much emotion in his voice, just wonderful.
Tonight I feel like I should just destroy my self
Exactly. It's all about the duration of it. Sufjan's All Delighted People is great but definitely does not fit into this listening experience of EPs.
Sums it pretty much.
Stunningly beautiful. Really takes to another place listening to these tunes.
About hating EPs, you should check this absolute masterpieces: - Air, Premiers Symptomes; - The Beta Band, 3 EPs; - Boards of Canada, In a Beautiful Place out there in the Country; - Courtney Barnett, I've got a friend named Emily Ferris; - Destroyer, Five Spanish Songs - Girls, Broken Dreams Club; - Jon Hopkins, Asleep Versions; - Of Montreal, Icons, Abstract Thee; - Primal Scream, Dixie Narco; - Radiohead, My Iron Lung; - Shabazz Palaces, Eponymous EP + Of Light; - Solange, True; - Vince Staples, Hell Can Wait. And that's just from the top of my head.
Such a dumb thing to rank songs.
I adore her and her voice and her songs.
I know this is not a very popular opinion, but their last two albums are by far my favourite records of theirs (the debut is, obviously, an exception). I like both tracks so far.
O futuro da música! (please)
Oh man, this is beautiful. I had my first child 8 months ago and the first song I sang to him was, believe it or not, Chlorine & Wine. Now every time I listen to it I get all chocked up.
So much moral preaching, Stereogum, and then you publish things like this. Typical. Thanks for the heads up, Moldavia Demo Land.
Did you sang that in the same low key as Merritt? I also love 69 love songs. I remember making compilations of my favourite songs from it. First, they were 12 songs. Then 25. A month later, 50. At the end, they were all my favourite.
It's not, but it's a pretty damned close call.
Yeah but AZ has got to be number 1.
And now there's a new Cass McCombs coming too. Good lord, 2016!
Agree 100% with you. Their last three albums were simply perfect.
It took me a while to wrap my ears around this one, but once I did I loved it immediately. "What's Not Mine" has got to be one of the best songs of the year.
You guys are very spiteful.
