Drake should host SNL too, I would watch the shit out of that. He'd be the same character in every sketch, obviously. I wouldn't want him to be anyone else.
I think it was mostly people jockeying for being in the front of GA, but the Will Call line was LONG when I initially arrived around 8:30. I'd bet it took 30-40 minutes from the end of the line to the box office window.
It should be said that this involves a lot of the same people who did the Das Racist "Michael Jackson" video we posted earlier. Weird Days is the name of that crew. This offshoot, though, is called Sunset TV and you might have seen their stuff on the web and on Pitchfork TV. All of the stuff is just spectacular. And that's your TMI moment in the comments for Friday!
Whoa file that Inception comparison under "Things I Wish I Had Thought Of." At least Ellen Page had nothing to do with Strange Mercy. But then again, I haven't seen the liner notes so I can't be sure.
I'm definitely on your side here. I really like her stuff but I feel like there's a deeper layer that hasn't been explored in the way that I would like it to be. So I can't help but appraise it through that lens.
I feel like No Mercy had a lot of potential/momentum that got messed up when he got his new sentence. So he stuffed the LP out with like, these bad, repentant tracks that countered the triumphant, good ones.
I feel like the pre-movie radio narrator dude is about to come in and and be like, "THAT was a new cut from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds..." Who's with me?
