Why are these so uninspired though?
Also the other two singles just fucking sucked so much that this counts for a refreshing change
I like it. It's not what I expect or want a Justin Timberlake song to sound like but it's going to make for a good radio hit. At least until it gets too ubiquitous to enjoy
You're not alone! I absolutely LOVE Mr. Wonderful. It's not consistent and some of the filler is annoying but god damn the highs are HIGH. Some of those songs are stone-cold classics. Easy Rider is just.... sheesh. I wasn't that big on Blue Chips 7000 though. Might need to listen again, but it kind of didn't leave any mark on me
Saw him maybe 2 years ago and it was extremely enjoyable. I was going to say "go see him while you still have a chance" but then I read how it's going to be a 300-show tour and realized y'all got plenty of chances
because Kendrick / Kanye / Vince / Danny Brown / etc...?
Same here, but both of these are just so good
Oh man this is really not good
So this basically sounds like Health + Grimes but I sadly like it less than both
I mean the first guitar strum pretty much tells you this song will be great (and it is)
It's really good!! Some of these beats are extremely smooth. D'Evils is my current favorite
I saw them last year at Primavera and it was pretty fun. The best thing about their set was that it was IMMEDIATELY after Bon Iver played at the stage that was opposite. They were soundchecking during Vernon's set and he was really excited and amused at this. Greatest booking ever
huh? Token of what? Being the only girl on the label that is touring?
Guess it's that time of the year where I regret not being American. And a date on my birthday no less...
This tour rules him out for Primavera which sucks a lot because I was really counting on it :(
When Americans finally get to Europe and eat some actual pizza, do y'all ever feel stupid for arguing which of your open sandwiches sucks less?
I only read the first YBB reply to a thread because they tend to go places afterwards
Immediately after posting I knew exactly what your comment is going to be
Illuminati gonna say it's fake
Nah man that's a solid ass pop punk album
Not a word in the comments about that cover art? I think this one stands out even by of Montreal standards. I think I like it! I definitely know I like the song!
This version is still better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUdoI2rci2o
This is definitely worth more than a 3! Good luck with the column, eager to read and hopefully you'll learn how to properly grade on the go
That Panda Bear EP was advertised as a vinyl only EP, so I guess it's just not available for streaming at all?
Viet Cong is one of the best records of the past 5 years. They also put on an amazing live show (which I was lucky enough to catch twice within a week last year!)
Anyone here got on the Shame train already? I can't recommend their debut Songs of Praise enough. It's been playing on repeat since I found out about it a few days ago and it's just a wonderful gem of English Post-Punk (or whatever you feel like describing it as). Some fantastic guitar work and fun, angsty lyricism there. Don't miss out!
Wait what the fuck what's audio micro and what the hell is going on
When was the last time you've seen Kim with shirt pockets?
Maybe if you spend a little more on your suits
Ketamine. It's always ketamine.
My feeling is Lana (or someone in her camp) is lying to give Radiohead some bad press, so they will consider dropping those negotiations
Man this song is so fucking good
That one's my absolute favorite
