He's 24?! Fuck. Thanks for making me feel a whole lot worse rn
Woke up yesterday and on a whim got plane tickets to Barcelona to attend Primavera Sound in 2 days. Been constantly listening to Arcade Fire since and I'm really fucking excited to finally see them live. Guess they're going to debut a bunch of new material there (they're playing on Saturday, so a day after the new song is out)
I saw them last year and it was fun but nothing crazy. I would probably have gone with Tool and I'm not even a fan or anything, just think that live show would be 100x better
This is an amazing comment
You can't put headlines like that now that Frank Ocean cancelled. We're depressed in Primavera as it is
Awaiting typography expert Sufjan Stevens' thoughts on the matter at hand
Where the fuck is Faint tho? Chris back me up here please
Some of it was fucking great. I'm especially fond of the first Washed Out EP, Small Black's New Chain, Neon Indian's Psychic Chasms and some Memory Tapes releases from that era
I can only hear the first 30 seconds of this but I'm sure as hell glad Chromeo are still around
I for one am glad someone took upon himself to make the proper tribute to Chris Cornell's Scream
Every day we stray further from god's light

From a quick review of Twitter there's a lot of teens and kids missing, etc. I hate this so much
Rumor is Vince is singing the hook while Justin's bringing the bars

I mean this is basically a cleaner version of the Miley & Her Dead Petz album cover
Fell on Black Days really came together for me today. I've also been re-listening to both Badmotorfinger & Superknown today and man, I forgot how good these were. What a bummer
You might be right but I guess California was trying to say that citing the cause of death as "suicide" would be enough, at least at this point
Album coming out next month. This bangs. Woo!
Just yesterday I went to a screening of "Supersonic", the docu film about them, and it was a pretty fucking fun watch. Only complaint was that not even once during the whole film did Liam use the P-word
This is some serious bullshit. I remember listening to them a shit ton in my teens, then re discovering them while I was in my first year of military service. I remember Black Hole Sun being one of the first "real" songs I learned to play on guitar. What an amazing voice and songwriter. Such a terrible loss
Remember before The Colour in Anything came out where he said it's going to include a 20-minute track? Can we get that pretty please? I'm dying to hear that
Album? Nah man, I'm really interested in purchasing that carpentry tutorial video
In all seriousness though: Three Rings is simply phenomenal, on first listen this track is really great. I'm really looking forward to this album, I've got a great feeling about this
ALBUM OF THE YEAR INCOMING
Yeah, what the hell. That version was incredible, I wish there was a normal way of listening/buying it
If you plan on reporting on everything Moby tweets or posts at Trump you better hire some more staff
I was really into their debut at the time and Belong was pretty good, and I'm pretty sure I listened to Days of Abandon a couple times when it came out, but I have zero recollections of doing that nor any idea what it sounds like. This track is solid though, hope this record turns out better than the last one did
Man, all of these songs are awful (ok, the Gucci one is alright). At least the Cashmere Cat music vid is adorable
These are the kind of news I like getting on my birthday
I'm turning 24 Monday and I also feel very weird about the whole thing. Guess I'm joining the Slowdive and Drinks Party!
This description is making me wet
Plans for all of Sunday right there! Maybe make some Pasta to go along with it
Fargo S03 is ON POINT. Better Call Saul also fucking rules as always. Finished Legion a few days ago, it's a bit too much at times but check it out if you're into great visuals and elaborate mindfucks. Can't wait to start watching the new Silicon Valley and Master of None. Also heard great things about American Gods but I've been 200 pages from finishing the book in forever now so I gotta do that before I start watching
Waiting for the world's response "Who Needs Banks & Steelz"
Yes! The Stereogum comment section's unsung hero returns. This is fun. Hopefully means another album on the horizon (although, you know, would also be cool to get that new VW album at some point)
Not really lately though, they had a Run the Jewels song featured in each of their seasons so far
Fuck Numb. That was always the worst song on that album even when I was in sixth grade. The best one was Faint, which I've confirmed a few weeks ago I still remember all the lyrics to
