came here to say this. their IG has been updated with bits, clips and art from their past album for the past 2 days. So by that logic, on Friday they should get to Phase 4... YES!
First couple of times I've listened to their debut I was confused as to how nothing in it came close to touching ...and the Hazy Sea. When LOSE came out I realized it's just their thing. No one else makes those kind of openers
I got that Viet Cong vinyl songs months ago but my turntable broke down about the same time and I hadn't gotten around to getting a replacement (still hoarded records like crazy since then though), so I haven't heard it yet. What you just described sounds incredible and I need to fix that turntable thing ASAP
2 albums and about a thousand features (which he always kills) in a single year. Yeesh. he's unbelievable.
(confession: haven't listened to Malibu in full yet, am fixing that right NOW).
I never listened to a full Tool album because 70+ minute albums scare me, but 46&2 is such a fucking great song and this write up does a really good job of convincing me I need to hear the rest of this
I think that if you check the HTML of the Meoe the Jewels review it turns out that cat emoji actually equals 7.5. Which is still pretty fucking impressive for a cat remix album
I hope it is, and if so I hope you'll dig back into their discography! "Parting the Sea..." is fucking fantastic and more people should hear it. (btw, haven't heard Stage Four yet, hope to do that tomorrow)
I don't think Touche Amore are anything like Brand New. It's much noisier and angsty. But they're extremely good at what they do and I'm so glad they're getting the recognition they deserve. Same goes for La Dispute who got decent covering here
Gotta tell you guys, I quit my desk job last week and it's been reeeeeally hard keeping up with the comments here ever since. The Colonel's ads are definitely not helping
