uhhh there was supposed to be another sentence there... and that sentence is "And here I thought I couldn't be more excited to see them in a week and a half!".
Seriously though. My Iron Lung! There There! WEIRD FISHES! god I can't wait
They are nowadays. But I'll stand very hard for S.C.I.E.N.C.E. if I have to.
SOAD were also great (they definitely get that nostalgia boost from me, but I legitimately still like them) but their lyrics are so unbelievably shit. It was so much easier liking them when I was younger and knew a lot less English.
I didn't own anything remotely related to Limp Bizkit but I will admit that I watched that Nookie performance in the article above and I enjoyed it.
I'm not too proud.
That was a very fun read! We definitely need more comedy-ish pieces here, those are always favorites.
Also I just realized that up until that dumb bridge, Freak on a Leash is actually pretty good. It might be the nostalgia speaking. I'm not sure.
The correct answer. I just can't turn this album off. It's so beautiful and chilling and huge-sounding and it makes me so sad and happy all at once. This album is something else
I hadn't heard it yet!! I really really want to but all I've listened to lately are Radiohead and James Blake and Real Estate (seeing them next week!) and it's a really harsh transition. I *will* listen to it this week though. The singles were fantastic and I really miss the Blood Brothers more than almost any other band ever.
What I really wanted to say though is that I'm so glad to see another big Blood Bros fan! They certainly were one of my favorite bands through high school and helped me extend my taste into much more hardcore/experimental punk music that I love so much. They, along with The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower and Bear vs. Shark (and a lot of other bands I get excited just thinking about) were responsible for so many head bangs and fist pumps in my room and at the car back then, and their music holds up so well to this day. I get shivers every time I re-read the Giant Swan lyrics!
Now we just need Dylan Baldi to write a feature and rj to report from Oldchella weekend 2 and we can finally summon his anguished spirit from purgatory
I'm so glad seeing some local talent make it big! Both Vania & Gal have extremely great videos in their resume and it's really fun knowing we're going to see a lot more of them
didn't get to White Lung yet!! I've been away from home all week so no speakers and I feel like that is something that has to be played LOUD.
same comment goes to Head Wound City which is one of the albums I was looking forward to the most!
