Is it July 2015 yet?
Fucking great track! Everytime I listen to anything by Aesop Rock I feel like I've been missing out on a lot. Where is a good place to start with this dude?
It will also be very infuriating when it loses to "Spoons"
I hope he does sell it, if only so he & Chance get some well-deserving nomination for Ultralight Beam. That would be very #ironic and very cool
I had to listen 3 times in a row to make sure I'm not just going to drop some crazy hyperbole, but this is fucking great!! The solo is incredible and it really reminds me of prime Weezer (yeah, nobody likes these comparisons, but it just feels that way to me). It even makes me forget how terrible that song title is. So far 3/4 killer tracks! Rivers, you did not lie to me back in that thread! Thank you homie
well, yeah. I sure hope he makes the GOOD Friday songs available to download (like the original GOOD Fridays) so we'll have all these other versions. I think the "fixing Wolves" thing is also going to be a GOOD Friday track, but who the fuck knows these days
Giant Swan is one of the best album closers ever
Feedback for me is one of the album's Highlights (punny!). Couldn't care less about Travis but it's still a very good track with a great beat. I liked Feedback 4 but I'm ok with you skipping on it. I am NOT OK though with the lack of 30 Hours - IMO that is easily one of the Top 5 of the album. I think the music is one of Kanye's strongest offering. The lyrics are pretty great too in my opinion, and the samples / hooks are incredible. I do agree with what you said about the length/outro - but luckily we do have another version - the one from the GOOD Friday on Soundcloud, which is 1:30 minutes shorter, doesn't include the outro (and 3 Stacks), and includes a very neat vocal bit which I think adds a lot to the song. God, I've listened to that version of the song (and the one on the album) maybe 20 times in the past 3 days, I absolutely love it.
I'm not sure, I would much rather have a longer Pt. 1 because it's very good (well, except for those lines, you know which ones I'm talking about). Pt. 2 is not very good IMO, although I love the Panda part. But the rest of it just doesn't feel like Yeezy at all
I agree with the second part but a very big NOPE to the first one

Macklemore makes new album only available to white people. Sales aren't affected
Yes! Extremely underrated band. One of my all time favorites
YESSS This slays!! Also I'm starting to realize this is the closest to a new Blood Brothers album we're going to get anytime soon so all the more reason to be happy
It will be The 1975 getting a 8.5
Downvotes are fine but please also answer my question
Kaiser Chiefs did the Create Your Own Album thingy. It wasn't very good though
Gold comment. Wish I could heart emoticon it
Chris getting ready for Music's Biggest Night™
Wait what's with the shade about Foxy Shazam? I haven't listened to these guys in probably about 3-4 years but I remember liking them
Waiting for the unevitable Ed Sheeran feat. Charlie Puth cover
I hate you so much for reminding me about that asshat
This is actually a really well-written and well thought review. I have issues with it coming barely a day after the album's release, especially when it's apparently still not done (not that it seems it will ever be) - but it's a very good read. Also the last couple sentences of that review are perfect. Tom, still waiting on your P.E.!
I meant this tweet which has a video in it. sorry bye
Hey Night Shift can you / any other of you stereogum staff baes attach embed this video in a comment / the article. It's the greatest thing. https://twitter.com/Seinfeld2000/status/698947609965121536
not really

I like it. But I liked "Down on My Luck" more than anything he released afterwards
what a horrible story. Thoughts to the band + manager's family.. I hate to bandwagon on those things, but I really liked those two songs. They just hit a certain indie-rock sweet spot for me. It sounds like music that NME would absolutely love so I feel like we would have heard of them sooner or later, which adds to the bummer of it all
It's Night Shift, not Weekend Guy. #FACTS
Welcome to the newest edition of "How Will TIDAL Fuck Up THIS Release" with your host, Rihanna!
Don't worry, Death Grips probably won't show up anyway
I'm not sure who called it first in the comment party, but pitchfork just BNT'd Ultra Light Beam. Well deserved!
Hey Scott where's that zip you promised us in the James Blake thread? Looking forward to it!

I swear I actually freaked out a little when he replied to me. I'm such a damn fanboy
Sheesh, that was a hard week for commenting. So much to comment on! I think I understand what it's like being blochead now
That's true. But still his music is some of the most thrilling I've heard, rap or not. So at this point I couldn't care less about the lyrics
