I actually really liked Vox Lux when it first came out and have always been curious as to whether the tides will turn in its favor one of these days. But I've also been too scared to revisit it in case it doesn't hold up to what I thought was a pretty fascinating, if flawed, movie.
FWIW I think I personally like it more than Golden Hour, but also see where Chris is coming from & feel like people might think it's a slight step down. But I've also been playing it nonstop... Album slaps!

The instruments are a little crisper, her enunciation is cleaner but it's mostly the same song.
I assume she's mostly doing these for movie/TV/commercial sync purposes because that's where the real money is (as opposed to streaming/general listening) so for that it works well enough.
Honestly did not even realize this. That’s a travesty! They’re still in my iTunes as EPs so the “album” tracklist doesn’t really mean anything to me... (I did notice “Don’t Fucking Tell Me What To Do” is not the opener anymore though, which is a bummer.)
We sort of have been doing that for the last few months, but it's also hard to decide who gets a description and who doesn't. And then y'all read into it too much ;)
