It was very cool having Bruce Hornsby in the office for a Stereogum Session. This was at our old office when we were part of Billboard Media Group. He needed to use the bathroom so I showed him, and then he went in briefly, exiting in disgust: “There’s shit EVERYWHERE.” It was the only bathroom on the floor so I had to walk him around the building to find another one since you can’t get around without a key card, but that was cool ‘cause we got to chat. I think I mentioned this column. He signed ‘The Way It Is’ vinyl for me, but scribbled all over his face… I don’t think he’s very fond of this album.
