We hate them too — every couple of months I beg the sales team if we can get rid of it. 😞
But also lol:

And I'm no big GGD fan but I think it's always interesting to ask a band to look back at their huge hit so Cokeparty can CHILLAX!
IIRC Step By Step followed Family Matters which in its first season had a theme song from a different column:

I watched A LOT of sitcoms in the ‘80s and loathe the format now. I think they’re all terrible.
The 'MTV Unplugged Collection, Volume One' comp (which is pretty good!) had Paul doing this song and restarting it after messing up. I listened to that CD so much I can never hear this song now without expecting that to happen five seconds in.

It came from her Facebook post. (It is a Facebook post, not an article.) And if she has an issue with her public social media post being quoted (after it was quoted in full in a very popular Reddit post) all she has to do is email us and ask to not be quoted.
What are you talking about?
She's clearly credited in the post.
How is it any different than something like this:

This community clearly agreed we didn't do anything wrong.
And honestly if she'd emailed us and explained she was a music writer and could we link out to her post instead we would have.
"offer her a book deal"?
