I wonder how many supporters this will lose Trump. "HOW CAN HE CALL HIM A GOOD MAN?!"
The fact that this isn't a power metal festival is fucking tragic.
Can't believe no one has mentioned that False Prophets uses the same beat from Joey Badass's "Waves" and that Joey did it 100 times better
Hmm I dunno if you can say that about subliminal shots considering Kendrick's "Control" verse and his subliminals at Drake.
Tom left out some context to that line, he mentions "lil rappers" prior to that, so I think he's talking about guys like Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert.
"Band makes classic debut album. gets famous, gets pumped full of ego, releases Use Your Illusion I and II. many such cases!"
Lol replace slide everyone after the second Crying up and throw Kanye in right above the 1975, I'm a goof.
I'm bad at these and didn't listen to nearly enough music this year but here goes... 1. Chance 2. Beyoncé 3. Crying 4. Bon Iver 5. Crying 6. Frank 7. Solange 8. Blood Orange 9. Radiohead 10. The 1975 I'm ashamed to say I never really gave Blackstar a good listen but I'm sure it would end up in here somewhere.
"Oh my gosh its a freaking pterodactyl! Let me bring up Jurassic World star Chris Pratt to help us out!!!!"
"I had never heard any songs by Red Hot Chili Peppers." How the fuck is this even possible?
This isn't a very poptimistic article guys.
I struggled through that Chainsmokers song to see if you were right about it maybe not being a hit. I thought you were crazy until I heard the drop, that shit was pathetic. I can't see a song with THAT as the drop becoming anything close to their other big songs.
Pitchfork frantically scrambling to delete Camp review.
This is all dependent on what you think is "absolute crap". If its some songs off like Presto and Roll the Bones then I'm okay with ya. But if you're gonna start including songs from the 70's and early 80's we're gonna beef.
Is it bad to say that I think she kind of has a point with that second post? She's delivering it in the most obnoxious and ignorant way possible but I think there's really something there. Hillary and the Dems clearly didn't do enough to motivate their core supporters to go vote.
They won't come to Dallas but they'll go to fucking Birmingham!? What the hell guys?
This comment reminds me of Pitchfork's infamous 1.6 review of Camp. Now I don't think Camp is an amazing album but it was pretty hilarious to see his lyrics about feeling out of place as a black man at an "indie" concert being taken to task by Ian fuckin' Cohen aka this fucking guy: http://i.vimeocdn.com/video/330689682_1280x720.jpg
" Maybe he’s back on the cough syrup or taking oxys again himself. " She just seemed really bitter (probably justifiably) up until this comment. This is a pretty low blow and you'd think someone who is apparently still very torn up about their boyfriend overdosing 26 years ago would be a bit more sensitive about this kind of stuff.
A Lena Dunham joke rap song featuring Charlemagne tha God. No thanks but I give you my respect for sitting through it.
Whoever decided that "Find Me" wasn't the song that should be released as a single and played on every Late Night show should be slapped incredibly hard. Way way better than either of these songs.
Kings of Leon's Closer is also much better
He already admitted to liking it in a comment. LET'S FUCK HIM UP
I would yell obscene things at the drummer if I saw him live. What an obnoxious twat. Stop flailing your arms you fuck.
"Twenty One Pilots announced a vinyl-only triple live album, out later this month. " lol
I'll take "Members of Bands You'd Least Like to Hear Solo Material From" for $200, Alex.
Next truth.org commercial will just be footage of their VMA's performance.
It's a song that, heard once or twice on occasion, would be completely tolerable. But as a number one song, it is fucking terrible. I think you're being way too kind though Chris.. The dude singing in the first verse is objectively bad. Is he even really singing or just loudly sighing words into the microphone? As far as I can tell his range is approximately 2.5 notes. This probably isn't helped by my immense disdain for Halsey. Seriously, anyone who likes Halsey, what is your excuse for "Colors"?
To be completely fair, you should totally listen to Roses. Pretty damn good song. You can pretty much give everything else a big fat miss. Speaking of, how the fuck did these dudes do a song as good as Roses? I'm starting to think it wasn't really them at all.
So how long until we get Drake - Wanna Know (feat. Dave) and then on his album, Drake - Wanna Know.
This song fucking sucks. I'll ride all day for Roses but Closer is shit. The first verse the dude can barely sing. Someone put it well in that he said he sounds like someone singing in their car. Halsey is also fucking horrible can't stand her at all and her Lorde del Rey thing is not good. Normally these kinds of songs are saved by "the drop" but this has to be about the most boring EDM drop I've heard. It doesn't even hit hard! Kygo has harder hitting drops! So yeah fuck this song and fuck these dudes.
But they've had backing vocals since Youth and Young Manhood?
MC Chris was cool when I was a 13 year old in a Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy clan.
He's a middle aged white dude who looks like he does. Would you really expect him to NOT be a potential Trump voter.
I think a big part of it is the juxtaposition of the human equivalent of a marshmallow in a red sweater has the actual name Ken Bone.
Dammit man I had forgotten all about fucking Moves Like Jagger. Ugh.
