I think a lot of rap fans in particular took issue with the part where she acts like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera were beacons of good behavior in the late 90's, early 00's.
Personally, as a strong Christian, I long for the days of 90's music like Nirvana and their song "Rape Me". Also remember Wu-Tang Clan? They were really for the children. Too bad we abandoned Jesus in 2008 when we elected this Kenyan Muslim and Hillary send us to Iraq.
Speaking of Adele, I saw OT Genasis at a festival this weekend and after his set he had a segment he called "OT's Playlist" where he proceeded to play "Hello" followed by "Where Are U Now" He was really into "Hello" too.
I feel like this is the song they've been trying to make since they wrote "Fans"
The Cudi-Scott (this is even funnier considering Cudi's real first name Scott) connection is so clear it hurts. Travis's music almost feels like where Cudi's could have ventured if he wasn't so obsessed with Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. Maybe I'm showing my age but I much preferred Cudi to Travis. For me Travis hasn't put out anything to even touches either of the Man on the Moons.
Fly on the Wall is an interesting album to apparently be taking heavy influence from.
The bit just after "well i better fold my clothes" is fantastic.
I think putting Britney's performance after Bey's was an intentional move by MTV to kill Britney's career once and for all.
Sometimes over the last few years I would forget how Avicii ever got so popular with some of the garbage he was putting out. But then I would hear Levels and remember.
Yeah somehow I think ol' Angelo was a big part of some of the shittier KoL stuff since Only by the Night.
Have we reached the point in time where U2 is ripping off Coldplay?

The movie "Friends with Benefits" predicted this kind of douchey Shaun White behavior years ago and we didn't heed the warning.
I searched the word "excited" on Google images to post my reaction to track 4 and I found this http://www.financialramblings.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/overly-excited-guy.jpg
Good remix. Those chorus synths make the song though.
Amazing how people will still eat up the "normal, everyday girl" marketing that goes with her.
Actually, LA Rams Twitter writer, I DID know Schoolboy Q had skills because I read an article about him playing college football! Take THAT!!!
holy fuck i forgot all about shwayze. he was like if you took all the weirdness out of kid cudi and threw him on a beach
Justin really defines the words "teen choice".
Dream Theater is like if you take all of what critics said about Rush and made it all true.
Kanye x Mos Eisley city planning
I would imagine IKEA doesn't want to work with Kanye because he's literally never done anything related to what IKEA does. Also, IKEA kind of already have their own minimalist aesthetic going, what's the point of adding Kanye's minimalist aesthetic on top of that?

So Major Lazer is going from a Chronixx feature to a...Sam Hunt feature? Just going full appropriation I guess.
One Dance basically sounds exactly like Ojuelegba by Wizkid.
I think this was all done so he could use the "your own kind don't even like you" line
Here's what I don't get about you Tom, you'll aggressive shit all over guys like J Cole and Logic for being "boring" and take the piss out of the idea that they actually might have interesting things to say. But then you'll take Generic Street Rap Guy #642 and act like he's the greatest thing to hit rap since OutKast. I'm not a big fan of Cole or Logic either but I just can't understand that.
I just don't understand how someone can not love No Problem. Every time the chorus comes back in I lose my shit.
Maybe I'm crazy but Guetta's doesn't sound THAT similar to me. I hear some similarities, mostly in the drum pattern, but Guetta's song completely lacks that whole section that everyone knows Lean On for, it doesn't even really try to replicate it. Guetta's song does suck though, Lean On is 100 times better.
Unfortunately for Justin he's going to learn you can't have your cake and eat it too. You don't get to be a massively famous pop star adored by millions and have the same kind of privacy expectations as a normal person. It sucks but that's the way it works, and some Instagram posts aren't going to change anything.
Yeah, really not seeing how "New Level" relates to techno in any way.
Taylor Swift has transformed pop culture through her songs, artistry and indomitable spirit uuuuuuuuuuugh
This is just very creepy to me still because her face reminds me of a 12 year old
Flatbush Zombies are fucking great and it's sad that the narrative among many music critics still seems to place them as some kind of 90's revivalists.
How do you "mistakenly" watch a music video? I would also challenge this officer to read the OTHER DoJ report, the one where they detail how horrifically corrupt Ferguson's PD was and is.
