You're never going to be able to tell me that Hybrid Theory isn't an awesome album.
There's a 99.99999999% chance this is going to be fucking awful. But I'll be holding out hope for that tiny chance that it's not.
The juxtaposition of Louis, who couldn't give less of a fuck, and Sam Smith, who is giving way too many fucks, is hilarious.
He has his own studio where he lives and he's just fucking around.
This lineup is a bizarre mix of EDM, bands that experienced their most popular days 5 years ago and a little spattering of hip-hop here and there.
Surprised you didn't mention that this samples XXYYXX's "About You".
That quote looks like the logic of someone who is extremely stoned.
Does anyone even give a shit about late night shows anymore outside of the music?
Always cool to hear stuff like this. I like that they ended up just going with Chance basically going in over the song as it was as the song already has a bit of a hip-hop feel and his verse went with the song perfectly. However this version is interesting because it has more of a chopped-up hip-hop feel and it still sounds great. Really excited to see what Chance and JB can create while they're living together.
It's getting pretty decent reviews. I think a lot of people get turned off by Gibbs for some reason. No one seems to want to include him among the best in the game right now but he's absolutely right up there.
MadGibbs better get a long write-up at some point, its way too good to not get covered.
Really hyped for the Cellar Door, can't wait to see the tracklist and see who else is producing. I'm assuming FlyLo will produce at least one song since they're on his label.
"High as fuck" Picture of one pretty small joint and a tiny grinder.
I'm just having a hard time imagining JC and Travi$ Scott chillin together.
I love how in the footage of this "riot" there's a nice shot of people casually strolling into the venue. This whole thing is being way overblown. These comments are a gold mine of hilarity though. Odd Future is apparently not only the black ICP but they're also the black Juggalos, the non-talented A Tribe Called Quest and Tyler has literally no redeemable talents whatsoever other than being really awesome at rape culture.
This is song was on the original tracklist for Act II, which I think is a good sign for the album coming out. At least we know he actually made the damn songs.
Hahahaha someone thinks Locked Out of Heaven is actually titled "Your Sex Takes Me To Paradise"
Lex Luger does a whole lot more than just stuff like he did on Flockaveli.
I feel like this just deflates some of the meaning the song had.
I'm pretty upset Stay Trippy didn't win this. I just wanted an in-depth analysis of songs like "Money A Do It" and "Scholarship".
The pitch of his voice is hilarious. But I mean doesn't it happen to all of us when we talk to our significant others' parents?
I'll probably get downvoted but I think Dookie is one of the 50 best punk albums of all time.
There's some pretty cool sections in Questlove's new book about Lauryn Hill, The Fugees and all of the Soulquarians.
Good to see Kanye wearing clothes a normal human being would wear again.
"from here on known as 'artist'"
THANK GOD I LIVE IN DALLAS SO I CAN WITNESS THIS MOMENTOUS OCCASION
I'm 100% sure he's not talking about gay people when he says fag.
People are gonna totally misunderstand this. There's no way Thicke should be able to be sued. It would set a terrible precedent of people suing other artists for a derivative sound.
Except that's not "perfectly fair" at all. I've been to three Kings of Leon shows, including the one in Dallas that inspired your "drunk for gigs" comment. They've always started right on time, the songs are played excellently live, they sound just like the studio version and really they do a good job of performing live. Other than a few isolated incidents that everyone seems to focus on (as if other bands don't have similar issues as well), Kings of Leon seem to be a pretty nice group of guys.
Doris and Watching Movies with the Sound Off are like sister albums.
