I heard someone on twitter talking about a new show on HBO created by "LD" and got really excited for more Curb-Your-Enthuisiasm-esque goodness. That misunderstanding will make it very difficult for Girls to not be a disappointment.
Ah! I see too late that you get my joke. Cheers!
I offer you this as a reconciliation gift: http://www.hulu.com/watch/304824/american-the-bill-hicks-story
Comedy is subjective, indeed. In my estimation, he is overrated. Regardless, my comment was only meant to reinforce Winwood's observation that we don't often agree on shit.
A couple of theories:
-These are teenage dolphins who refused to listen to their parents when they were told it was dangerous to swim up to the beach, and also they might be on drugs.
- This is a dolphin cult,, and they were full-on expecting a spaceship to take them away when they hit the sand.
Either way, these dudes must be pretty embarrassed right now.
Okay, I read your stupid words, and I am still outraged! Certainly you are guilty of false advertising and using the promise of photo sexts to get people to read your stupid words explaining why you aren't going to follow through with the sext photo unpacking that had been promised. This is a rabbit hole of lies!
I think that Kirk Cameron's beliefs about homosexuality are wrong, but I don't think he is hateful. When asked to reconcile the existence of homosexual feelings with the authority of the Bible, which he has dedicated his life to, he is trying to circle a square, and he does this by drawing a distinction between behavior and desire. I agree with Gabe that Cameron's defense of his gay marriage position is very poorly made, mainly because it is a position that is almost impossible to make without an appeal to an authority that isn't agreed upon or to fears which aren't universally shared.
He does, however, make an excellent point at the end of the clip about the existence of multiple standards of morality that are often in conflict. While I would say that this point creates the basis for an excellent argument against his own stance, it also is an argument for giving him the benefit of the doubt with regard to being a hateful person. It's clear that he recognizes that his is not the only perspective. It is also clear that he is making his perspective known because he believes that it will help people and the world.
I actually think that it is pretty brave for him to use what remaining celebrity he has to set himself up for widespread ridicule in an attempt, however wrongheaded, to help others. I disagree with just about everything that he says, but I do not doubt his sincerity.
Hey guys, does anyone know of a website where I can find a friendly and comfortable environment to meet bisexual and bi-curious individuals to make new friends and establish romantic relationships? I was hoping that maybe someone here might be able to help me find one, regardless of the context of this particular post, which, frankly, I've already forgotten. Thanks in advance!
