Sorry I didn’t see you said this already.
No attempt by Taylor Swift to make a political statement in a song will come out perfectly most likely, but to me it was pretty clear that she was saying you’re not gonna hate someone’s gay away, not calling the abusers gay, but just saying it’s a waste of your time and energy because they’ll still be gay and you’ll just be an asshole. It wasn’t ambiguous to me, but maybe that’s just me.
You really couldn't get your hands on a screwdriver for the shoot?
It was confusing because their profile picture on spotify is the cover of the debut and then all the live albums and everything were mixed in with their studio albums on my desk top and I wasn't sure if I just couldn't find it at first.
Yeah I would definitely how we react to art in general is way more affected by society and culture then the biological differences between genders.
I saw this going in a different direction as in "not because, you know, the whole point of art in a way is to have an emotional response to it.
Sounds well thought out and it’s good he’s being on top of those concerning feelings. Hope this helps him out soon.
Although it’d be nifty if this was a real quote, at least people can stop using it as a way to give him too much for being some kinda mastermind. He’s a rich opportunist, you’d be amazed how little you’d need smart ideas if you’re literally willing to do or say whatever gets you the furtherest without any value for integrity, honesty, or the greater good.
I haven't been following the Headabee Bromance, but doesn't Jonathan Davis have a tattoo of a priest giving a nun an abortion with a coat hanger? Has that come up in their televised interviews yet?
Have we talked about how the guy from Hansen is on this album yet? I’m sorry if I missed it, but it seems like everyone’s blowing past that.
In defense I personally don't believe their is a clear way to truly measure album sales in the current landscape that can in anyway be measured against the album sales of the past.
A pack of energy drinks that comes with an album?
I’m not sure what your argument is here.: A) we have to believe Moby over Natalie because pop stars have dated teenagers before. B) we have to not find Mobys behavior creepy because again he’s just living that rick star life. I don’t think people think them being involved is an impossibility, but I don’t think people think “Old Guy Writes Book Full of Misguided Attempts to Brag Might Have Also Exaggerated” is an impossibility either. Personally his account could be a hundred percent true and I still think it makes him look bad to me.
He saying it’s corny and he means it sincerely.
The only believable things about this song is that if Ed Sheeran we’re trying to intimidate you to not approach his woman he would do it by standing really close to her and he would definitely have to say do over three minutes over and over again until he just annoyed you away.
If you had to choose one do you guys this Lacks more awareness of who these words are coming from Lacks more awareness of how fucking out of date this song is?
I love Future Islands, but I think they're over selling the influence here. If your a concert promoter in 2014 and you see past the accusations and see R Kelly as a ticket selling commodity then you happily trade Future Islands to keep him. If there is any truth to this story it is just that Future Islands followed many many other complaints at boycotts.
I am confused by this guy's accounts of things especially his account of the afroman conversation.
I mean that’s kinda of their shctick. They’re Called Drive by Truckers this album is called Pizza Deliverance, a song is called 18 Wheels of Love. Part of this bands identity is being way better than you could expect them to be based on their image and labels.
Yeah stop calling blochead balls! When testicles become sentient they deserve to be identified by a name of their choice.
You would hope, but it seems this thread is leaning the wrong way.
Legitimacy Sublime>Lana Del Ray
Let’s not group cursive with grammar like that. While both have almost been eradicated in state curriculum over the years, I’m glad cursive is on its way out even though parents and other English teachers seem to assume I will share their views about how much of a shame it is that kids are not learning cursive in elementary school anymore.
As an English teacher, fuck wasting grammar school on learning cursive.
What’s sad is that I thought that this was a follow up to the Moby story at first. They really don’t look that alike. Guess I’m getting old.
Honestly I watched Surviving R Kelly and I felt it was a completely necessary series and it was effectively impact and upsetting. I hope this continuation does not come off as just sensationalist, opportunist, or exploitative. Maybe if he's in jail by then they can frame in a way that's encouraging to victims that it is worth it to speak up and that consequences are possible.
I gotta say if I’m gonna see the same advertisement plastered 100 times on the same mobile article screen I’m happy it’s Kevin Abstracts delightful ass smile.
If anyone is curious all seven students in my room right now are familiar with both artists. One student only knows frank ocean by name, but everyone else loves Frank Ocean and thinks he’s way better than Halsey. I feel like ninth graders is a good measurement of mainstream relevancy.
You stay away from our Frankie!
Yeah there is not much a bridge in terms of future pop, but listening to Cuz I Love You did kind of make me make some of the connections with the Prince infused positive high energy empowerment aspects of bot releases. I have been excited about Lizzo for a few years now, she's always hooked me, she comes from approach of demanding your ear and it has always been refreshing. Her overall musicality as an artist is always apparent to me and though she is very sing-heavy these days, and she's a really good singer, she is a solid rapper too and well-done self love anthem is not the easiest thing to pull off and she has a few great ones under her belt already.
I have a feeling he is doing exactly what he intends to do. Being thought of as incompetent is still being thought of at all at least. It's not about having a valid opinion being able to back it up in any type of sensible way, it's about his existence being recognized and that's a completely understandable human desire. Moderator Bob is here, he exists, he is heard, and now hopefully he can grow and set the bar higher for himself, set higher goals.
What are you’re feelings on Dirty Computer?
