Also: I like the move, but How long till he says something along the lines of something he says everyday on his show, the American society of moms for no no language not on tv speaks up and NBC pulls him? NBC and all the major networks bow to sponsors and a handful of written in letters and will quake. but if they keep him on, and all these groups get all pissy, the show could be extra fun.
I agree. Stern rocks, videogum rocks. I find most people my age (26) or younger seem to rag on stern because they have never listened to stern. They saw a few episodes of the E show growing up, think its all about strippers and midgets and move on writing it off as juvenile. This is a great move and I think the show will get big ratings. I have to be honest, I have never watched this show more than 5 minutes and I think I will be in on this from episode 1. Still hate the format and Nick Cannon with the passion of 10,000 suns though....
Baba Booey.
Ricky Gervais' 2011 monologue was not funny, yet you think the recent season of the office is? I feel lost Videogum. Whats going on buddy? you doing ok?
So how many episodes left? I'm guessing 1-3 episodes of Glen dealing with the secret of the barn (who cares?) followed by someone else finding out through Glen, and his girlfriend being all mad at him so they dont have sex. a good 30-40 minutes will be spent on this bs. Once the rest of the crew find out about this, they confront Hershel. Hershel gives some long winded speech about never giving up hope in the ones you love, blah blah blah. it seems similar to Sophia (who the audience cares for about as much as the zombies in the barn), then that episode or the next they find sophia. Sophia is back with the gang, then something happens where the zombies get let out of the barn and terorize the farm house. We get one really good episode (maybe) of them boarding up the farmhouse and fighting off the zombies. A bunch of the farm folk die, maybe one or two of the main characters (bye andrea), replace her with glens girlfriend. they go back to the highway leaving the now wrecked farm house, start driving, Grimes gets on the CB radio, gives some long winded picard esque speech about keeping up the fight, and then END OF SEASON 2.
Its become very apparent that season 2 is the farm house when it should have just been like 3 episodes. Rember when the first 6 episodes had like 100 locations and actions, and events, and zombies? The CDC episode was perfect. One episode, in and out, everything you needed to know, and very cool. all zombie stuff with the looming threat of the power dieing. Farmhouse has been 5 episodes already with no end in sight, no immediate threats, no immediate zombie storyline... It is the worst.
Yet at the same time the people defending the shows lack of Zombies cite Budget amongst the reasons for little action. How about some of that pointless prolouge money go towards centering the show back on what every damn episode in the first season was about, and not the bitch fest that season 2 is.
lol, good point. But I did love the CDC episode, oh so much. Nothing of that sort this season. Replace all that cool post-apocolypse science zombie stuff with explosions with people crying for 3 straight episodes... ugh.
This episode was something of an improvement, but damn they couldn't slow the pace down any more than they possibly are. Everything that has happened in the first three episodes should have just been episode 1s hour and a half premiere. And it is bothering me how frivolous these people are with food and supplies. Its the damn apocalypse, slow down. This show seems to quickly be pulling a Heroes, where you have a fantastic on point first season, and then have the following seasons just kind of stumble around with characters we don't care about and off subject (ZOMBIE-SUBJECT) Storylines. I could really care less about the little girl or the woman who wants to kill herself at this point. MOVE ON SHOW!
Glad other people are saying it. Kristin Wiig is pretty damn funny, but the writing for her on SNL, as well as the writing in Bridesmaids for her character are really more annoying than funny. This seems more and more likely that it is her own writing. I've seen her in other roles where I really like her, but when she plays these over the top characters that just act strange, it falls on its face. The Lawrence Welk sketch is one of the worst they have going right now. Tiny hands. Pretty much the joke. Done about 10 times now. was mildly amusing the first time, then nothing.
