a bit more on this here: http://www.hypebot.com/hypebot/2009/03/expumpkin-corgan-actually-thinks-live-nation-ticketmaster-merger-is-a-good-idea.html#comments
I got nothin but love for you grover...but to the point...This is all extremely disappointing. I keep asking myself why Corgan would feel the need to do this? What is it that gives people the unquenchable thirst to be the only kid in the sandbox....could he really be that anti-social?
This is conspiratorial attempt by the Coldplay Camp to seed the next generation of teens with the idea that Coldplay are the "nice" UK band and Radiohead are the "mean" one. The parent company DEFINITELY orchestrated this...Prolly never happened at all...Poor girl.
EVERY "bad guy" drop is coupled with a good guy mention of Chris Martin.
and while I was listening to the audio of this and typing I developed a testicular goiter in my eye.

Ignoring for a minute the fact that we were signed to Columbia Records from 2000-2004, that we are still signed to EMI for some of our publishing, and that we now have our own record label and wouldn't sign a deal with any of these teetering monolith bastards if our lives depended on it, I would like to ask you...do YOU want to be signed?
Also the Emo you hate, is it the early 90's Emo, Quicksand, Sunny Day Real Estate kind...or the 80's type that Ian MacKaye railed against, or perhaps you are referring to Hawthorne Heights? I need some clarification please.
