Shortly after releasing Dark Roots, the self-recorded debut EP that landed them a BTW tag, Floridian girl/boy indie-pop duo Blonds relocated to NYC and hooked up with savvy Rare Book Room producer Nico Vernhes (Dirty Projectors, Deerhunter, etc.) to assemble a debut full-length. You can hear what the pair can do with some beefed-up production with “Run,” the melodramatic and expansive first single from that long-player.
