Slow motion’s a speed that works well for Warpaint, a trio of L.A. ladies and a drummer guy trading in gauzy, darkened post-punk hypnotica. Their video for “Elephants” matches framerates with the dreamy Lynchian clip they delivered for the quietly anxious “Stars,” but here they’re dressed in Stevie Nicks lace scattered across a bare performance space. Director Bruce Miller portrays them well, laconic and ethereal with a certain sorceress’ force, just as likely to break your heart as to be cast in a remake of The Craft.

that guy playing drums is the chilli peppers new guitarist, josh klinghoffer.
This is a bad mix of Siouxsie Sioux and Evanescence.
Nice. Pumped to see the Knoxville show
These girls were made for YouTube. I hope they get really famous and make sexy mistakes.
Wind annoying, black bra, old stockings, bad haircuts
Love this band. Love this song. Love that EP. This video…. eh.
At 3 minutes, I had enough. It wasn’t pleasant on the ears. Just sounds like a disfunction of sounds, and the lead singer creeped me out at one point. In other words…what the fuck?
only good thing about this was the drummer. who left.
Reminds me a lot of portishead. I can dig it
@adi: this is what takes to assess a record (or a band) these days… 3 minutes!!??!!
