In May, we teased the forthcoming record by Kurt Feldman’s (The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart) new project Ice Choir with the light, fun late-’80s/early-’90s love letter “Teletrips” and the starry “I Want You Now And Always.” The full-length, Afar, fleshes those themes out further. Kurt produced himself, and it was mixed by Jorge Elbrecht. You can stream Afar below.
Afar is out 7/31 on Underwater Peoples. NYC folk: the album release party is 7/27 at Tribeca Grand. RSVP by e-mailing events@grandlife.com.

In your interview, the band says that if it had to have only one and only disc for a desert island, it would take Creed’s Human Clay. I hope to God that that’s a joke.
