
On the new tribute album Spirit Of Talk Talk, a number of prominent musicians assemble to show love to Talk Talk, the great British experimental pop band. Depeche Mode’s Alan Wilder curated the tribute, and the roll call of contributors includes King Creosote, Turin Brakes, and members of Arcade Fire, Pink Floyd, and the Verve, among others. The double-CD collection will also have a companion coffee-table book. And below, we’ve got a download of a track from the compilation: Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle covering “Tomorrow Started,” a delicate synthpop song from 1984′s It’s My Life. Download it below.
