Next month, longtime Chicago smart-music scenesters the Sea And Cake will release their new album Runner, the follow-up and companion piece to last year’s The Moonlight Butterfly. We’ve already posted first single “Harps,” and below, we’ve got a stream of “On And On,” a spindly chug of a pop song.
Runner is out 9/18 on Thrill Jockey.

Yeah, that’s good stuff. I’ve got Runner on pre-order, and it’s looking like I won’t be disappointed–not that I would be given how consistently superb Prekop & Co. have been for the last 18 years.
