We’ve already brought you a song and a video from Field Music’s Measure, and both showed off Peter and David Brewis’ formal, fastidious songwriting. We may never really hear the effects of David’s Black Crowes love (plus, a full-on turn to Southern-fried rock would be really bizarre). But “Each Time Is A New Time” has the brawniest guitar hooks on Measure. These guys are experts at balancing a song’s elements — the rhythm knows when to back up the hook, and when to shift into something more delicate and fluid.
